Investments were made in 2012 and the park opened in 2014. As the biggest science and technology R&D park in Northwestern China, this project was one of the “12th Five-Year” key projects in Xi’an. GLP I-Park has helped the local government introduce indigenous R&D and software development companies, has effectively driven Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone to become “a high-tech industrial frontier in Western China” and has helped Xi’an take the lead in the development of Northwestern China by boosting urban center construction and “Belt and Road” builds.
GLP I-Park initiated a Campus model among China’s industrial real estate sector, aiming at creating an academy-like atmosphere in scientific and technological innovation parks. The aim was to build a science and technology business community integrating work, life, entertainment and technology for highly-qualified innovative talent. The park not only has R&D office buildings, but is also equipped with comprehensive business life facilities, creating a cozy community that inspires creativity. At GLP I-Park, it’s more than just work!
